I can't even give it away!!!...

So much for FreeWare, or at least the lot that are responsible for the  above site!  As I indicated, I had submitted a little application at the site, but found that after just one day it had been deleted without notice.  I emailed for a reason but got no response after a few days, so I emailed again the below text - again no response!

Obviously they didn't think much of it! Sob. :)

What actually annoys me is not that, but the fact that here's another crowd just looking to make a buck from Freeware, only here through ads.  I didn't realise this as I have Adblock Plus turned on by default (who doesn't these days!) so wasn't aware of the advertising at the site.  At least it does highlight how well Adblock Plus does its job quietly 'in the background'.

So, it's probably just as well.  It's a shame though that such a professional-looking site behaves so unprofessionally towards the very people they are looking to exploit.

I submitted a little application about 1 week ago - 'TTS-Helper' - but after just one day it was deleted by you without notice. Although I emailed you as to the reason, as yet I have received no reply!

Now I'm simply simply curious as to why my software submission was rejected.

Below is your own "Software Submission Policy" - please point me to the violation that warranted the no-notice-deletion.

And at least show me the courtesy of a response!  Judging by the rate at which 'New Releases' appear on your site, I realise that you must be pretty busy, but given the "Freeware" nature of this -ie. no-profit for the contributors - you could at least explain why you do not seem to be following your own guidelines.

Software Submission Policy

We do not accept certain types of software:
        Software bundled with Adware/Spyware
        Shareware
        Demos
        Trialware
        Crippled Software (including "lite" versions)
        Non-English Software
Reseller or Affiliate software (ex: Casino software)
All files must have a direct download link. Example: (http://www.yourdomain.com/file.zip) If your files are hosted with a File Hosting service which can not be remotely linked, we will host your file on our servers.
Your account will allow you to manage your listings and view stats (downloads, reviews, etc.)
All submissions will go directly to our queue and will not be immediately available on our site. We use this policy to ensure forbidden software is not added to our site.
Software Submissions that do not comply with our Submission Policy will be deleted without notice.
